I was inspired to start my own business when I lost over 20 lbs on my own and have kept it off for a long time! People were approaching me asking me to help them lose weight as well so I wanted to teach them my strategies. I wanted to help them lose weight sustainably and stop the fad diet, regain weight cycle.
I was born in Florida and just moved back to the area after about 4 years in North Carolina with my husband Jody and 2 year- old daughter Ellie! We also have 2 dogs, Blue and Jackson. We love trying new restaurants, traveling, cooking, and spending time with friends and family!
Working with so many clients over the years, I have found that most people who have chronically dieted have slowed down their metabolism to a point where no matter how much exercise they do or how little they eat, they will be stuck and unable to lose more weight. Working with so many clients over the years, I have found that most people who have chronically dieted have slowed down their metabolism to a point where no matter how much exercise they do or how little they eat, they will be stuck and unable to lose more weight. To avoid getting into starvation level calories, putting your body at risk for muscle loss and nutrient deficiencies along with being miserable, a period of higher calories is often needed to prime metabolism before entering a fat loss phase again. Oftentimes, during this increasing food phase (sometimes called a "reverse diet"), clients will say they have improved digestion, less bloating, more energy, less reliant on caffeine, better sleep, a more regular menstrual cycle, enhanced mood, feel stronger with higher performance in the gym, lose inches, and just feel better overall! At the end of the reverse diet, they are maintaining their weight on much more food and can start the fat loss process again on a more manageable calorie level! It also allows for much more wiggle room to reduce further if and when a plateau occurs.
However, the approach all depends on where you are when we start. If you haven't chronically dieted, your metabolism is likely in a healthier state and increasing food intake prior to a fat loss phase might not be necessary.

I also believe in balanced nutrition and not missing out on life! My clients still go out to eat, go on vacation, and enjoy holidays while meeting their goals. You don't have to isolate yourself in a weight loss dungeon eating steamed broccoli and bland chicken all day to lose weight. You really can eat your favorite foods, enjoy life, and meet your weight loss and health goals!
The personalized plan includes your calculated macro nutrient needs, a customized guide on how to build balanced meals with portion sizes, recipes, a shopping list and meal prepping tips. I give you a guide because I want to teach you how to build healthy meals and not rely so heavily on a set meal plan in front of you to know how to eat! This helps you be self-sufficient and maintain the fat loss long-term. I also help with customized sample menus to start and throughout the process to help you with further assistance building balanced meals for fat loss.
Weight loss is a stressful and emotional journey and as your coach, I’m here to make it as easy as possible and keep you focused as your accountability partner! I will keep you focused and not let you get discouraged.
I will do a full assessment of your food logs, weights, measurements, and anything else we are focusing on and make personalized recommendations for the following week. Weekly vs biweekly check-ins depending on package selected.
This is a high support, high accountability program as all of my clients get my personal cell phone number to text when needed. They will often text me pictures of their meals when out to eat and I can help estimate calories for the meal. I can also help you decide what to get while traveling, shopping at the store, or at a restaurant. It’s like having a Dietitian in your pocket! I also share a private link for my clients to schedule touch point calls with me as needed to give the most support! Included in certain packages only.
